Rwcs, there are many shots on this thread with the 50 f:1.4, including two shots by damlams on page 326. It has two weaknesses. One is focus shift, and the other one is that if you are shooting wide open and close up, it is not very sharp. If you don\'t do so much of that, it is a totally delightful lens, with great colours, contrast and 3D. That it is light and (for Zeiss) cheap is a bonus. On this forum, I would say that maybe 60% of people prefer the 50MP and 40% the f:1.4 It also depends on your other lenses. For example, if you love the 100MP, then you will like the 50 MP more than the f:1.4, but you won\'t need the macro capability. Or you could just as well choose the f:1.4 to have two different rendering styles to chose from, either the MP style of the f:1.4 style...
