The last time I was in Munich a couple months ago, I noticed that a small shop at the back of city hall had a 24mm M series lens on display in the window... I don\'t remember the price and I kind of think it was the Elmarit rather than the Elmar, but not 100% sure. The shop is called Foto Reiter
I have heard good things about Isarfoto but have not yet visited them, in part due to the inconvenience of their non-central location (I guess I could take the S-Bahn) and also I already have a lot of photo equipment
Luka, thanks for the explanation. I\'m also curious whether you\'re getting any corner color shifts with the 28 Cron using the proper coding.
Someone I follow on Flickr recently got an M9 and isn\'t happy with the color shift when using the ZM18 and asked if it\'s the same problem with the Leica 18 or 21 when using the correct in-camera codes... anyone know? IIRC Corey Silken uses the Leica 18... but we haven\'t heard from him in a while.
Great set from the parade! Back in May of 2002 I was in Norway for the wedding of a couple friends. It was around the time of Norway\'s Constitution Day, which involves a huge parade of school children. Both friends are teachers and I was invited to participate in the huge Oslo parade. Slightly different age group than these engineers but it was a lot of fun and these images remind me of that experience.
Greg - love that shot, including your reflection. Very subtle!
Yes, columns...
First two are ZM21, then ZM50P, 35C (which I managed to get to flare nicely here) and the 50 again.
These two are similar to a couple I posted a couple months ago... ZM50P and CV75, both wide open
