Re: Leica R Series Lenses
I\'m back from my 6 month trip through the parts of India, I haven\'t visited yet. Here are some of the pictures I PPed today.
The first 7 are all with the Leica Apo-Macro Elmarit 100mm . Nikon D700 as always.
1) Goat head. The skin of the goats sold in Darjeeling\'s markets is always coloured a bright yellow-orange
2) Goat-meat stand
3) Temple bells
4) Two boys with hammer and sickle. West Bengal has been governed by the CPI for over 30 years, so their symbols are everwhere
5) A woman in Darjeeling with basket and the head-band, which is typical for this region for heavy transports
6) Two novices from one of the many monasteries in and around Darjeeling. This one is in the small village of Ghum
7) Three friendly women in Kolkata, who absolutely wanted to have their picture taken. I was very happy to oblige
The last one is with the Elmarit 28mm (V2) and flas, as it was very dark
8) A typical scene from an heavy afternoon rainfall during the monsoon-season. The sky turned pitch-black in no time. Very impressive!
Enjoy
