Re: Leica M8/M9/X1 Picture Thread

Luka, Ron, KL, Adam and Joe.... Thank You!

The rendering between the 75 Cron and Lux is so very different, and it is for this reason alone that I will keep the two. When I finally received the 75 Lux, I was going move on the 75 Cron, I do really love both the lenses. The original intent for the 75 Lux was for portraits, but I am finding I love the rendering for landscapes and beach scenes since it is so unique. And sometimes the 75 Cron is better for certain portraits where sharpness is important. I find the 75 Cron for portraits is similar to the ZE 100MP. Artistically I prefer the 75 Lux

KL, very nice shots! #2 is my fav

Alex, very nice shot! I have always wondered about the CV 40/1.4 as it is meant to be an excellent lens.

Ron, very nice shot

Luka, excellent shots! My favourite is #2

Joe, very nice shot! I strongly suggest you try C1 Pro, and see the difference with the depth and richness of colours. I am sure Adobe with catch up shortly with their RAW conversion algorithms, since Leica has now aligned with LR3. It was great hearing Ron\'s perspective on PP as I had been very cautious in PP coming from Canon and Olympus RAW files. The Olympus colours and richness are great IMO, and was the reason I opted for the EP-1. The M9\'s DNG files are very RAW and do need character to be imprinted. I\'m with Luka here, I would love to see the M9 the same size as the M6

Bijltje, beautful images! Love the last two shots
