Yeah, I think Ron is cheating with his location
Haha... perhaps, but I\'m only here for a few more days so I have to make it count! Jim, that\'s Schloß Nymphenburg in the west end of the city. It\'s one of my favourite areas to get away from the city while still being in the city. It\'s an area that will consistently deliver interesting photos throughout the year and in a way reminds me a bit of some of Philippe\'s photos in the Zeiss thread.
Thanks everyone else for the kind comments and Carsten again for the dot removal explanation. In regards to covering the dot, etc. for me it\'s primarily the colour and not the word Leica. In the past I\'ve also taped over the Canon and model logos on my DSLRs and immediately replace all supplied straps with black Domke gripper straps. I prefer a simple, clean look, but that\'s my preference. Here in Munich I\'m certain that enough \'regular\' people know what a Leica is and that it\'s expensive based on the conversations I\'ve had with acquaintances here. Back home or in less brand aware locales, I agree that 99.99% wouldn\'t have a clue.
