Yeah it has higher resolution especially of fine details wide open and on centre, improving moreso when stopped down than the ZF.
You are correct RE: 85 vs 85, but the 85mm ZM is also higher resolving than the 100ZF at comparable apertures.
I was comparing the 50 ZM planar to the 50 ZF Makro-planar. The C-Sonnar is not as sharp as the 1,4/50 ZF Planar.
