Charles, when you say that you would use the NEX 5/7 for low light stuff, are you suggesting that the NEX is better than the Leica M9 for low light? Because, as you know, I am now finding my feet with a NEX 5, and low light performance is nowhere close to that of the 5D MKII. That doesn\'t faze me because that is not what I bought it for, but I am surprised at your comment and the inference on the M9.
Philippe, the M9, the more I spend time with the system, the more I enjoy it, The reason for the NEX 5 is it would be a great light weight backup for travelling already having the M series lenses with me. The M9, IQ is quite amazing, different to the 5DII but I am now starting to understand the PP a lot better now. In low light the M9, with fast lenses and able to shoot lower shutter speeds, offsets a lot the disadvantages of lower ISO threshold. The M9 is what it is, so I have decided to work with it
Adam, yes I thought of keeping the ZE lenses, but if I am using lenses I prefer for now, I would rather move on the lenses I don\'t use for the next 6 months. In the past I found I kept Canon gear, thinking of keeping it as a backup, but then it ends up on ebay having depreciated considerably.
