It started as a great shot, then it deteriorated quickly as I tried to pick a bird onto which to focus. In the end, nothing got focused on, and I couldn\'t stop down (increase DoF) sufficiently and quickly because I was in the M mode.

(1) My photography comrades. Their facial expressions suggest the affection they have for me.
