Denoir, I think you should sit tight, 2 more months at least. I am still fumbling around in sharpening trying to get anywhere near your sharpness. Additionally I am so sick of seeing the jaggies when I resize but can\'t seem to find a solution that doesn\'t require quite a bit of time. I personally find your work to be awesome (traditional meaning not stupid over usage) and I am not one for landscapes usually. I think the results you share with the x1 are way ahead of most of those I see from others with the m9 (other forums are my main source, well flickr too).
I really should get more involved here especially in the post processing forums. I am growing so weary of many of the luf users\' arrogance, lack of manners, and anachronistic immaturity. The images in this thread and the constructive nature easily replAce nearly the entire forum at luf IMO.
Zombii - that 75 lux has a beautiful signature to me..what a lens! I really wish the x1 was at least a 2.0 and similar to denier I have been growing increasingly frustrated with it. I shot some casual shots of my gf doing a tv promo for her animal shelter and came away with literally 2 keepers from 20 shots..half were lost due to sluggish performance, the rest due to my in experiencing with zone focusing/being forced to zone focus indoors (high iso).
I\'ll hold on until the update..but if theree isn\'t a substantial improvement, I\'ll be selling the x1 on. While I could buy an m9, it would be the ring decision financially for someone of my limited experience.
