I have a Leica question and with all the knowledge here I thought this is a good place to ask.
Right now I have the 50 sonnar and a voigtlander 25 f4 on my M8.
I also have my old t1i from my pre leica days just incase i want to shoot macro or telephoto.
Heres my dilemma,
I often find that the 25 isn\'t wide enough for what I want. I\'m looking for a superwide. The Voigtlander 12mm 5.6.
Of course I would try out this lens before buying, but if I decide to go the superwide route, one of my friends brought up a thought that I feel I must address. He said that I\'m trying to put a screw into a piece of wood with a hammer. Meaning: the Leica isn\'t meant for a lens that wide as the viewfinder does not go that wide, and an external viewfinder wouldn\'t be rangefinder calibrated. So he suggests I get a wide lens on my T1i.
For those of you who have a lens wider than 24 on a Leica,
what are your thoughts on this?
