I\'ve been posting my night shots on the 50 f/1.2 AI-s thread but I certainly took the 105 f/2.5 AI-s for a spin one night with excellent results. Here is a shot taken in my hometown, through an open window of my car and through the glass door of a local shop around the corner from me that sells Buddhist statuary from the Far East. This was shot wide open at ISO 6400. The low light capacity of the D700 still amazes me.
