EDIT: Just read the part about 100% crop. Idiot me resized. Now what you see is a 100% crop:
5D2 and 400 5.6 with 2x TC on a Manfrotto 725B. Gonna try again on the 30th with a 7D and a Gitzo GT3541LS with a Markins Q20 ballhead. I know this combo can do better, but with that tripod, manual focus is near impossible, every time I touch it, the shake is unbearable. But properly focused, the 400 5.6 and 2X are actually quite sharp.
Not the best from this combo, I\'m sure. I can\'t wait for my decent tripod to get here. This was taken on a Manfrotto 725B by a 5DII and 400 5.6 with 2x II attached. When my Gitzo arrives, I\'ll try this again with a 7D and see if I can do any better.
