got the lens today! the chipped version works very well with my D90 (able to use A mode)! Build feels pretty good & solid, and the focus ring is very smooth! the lens cap and hood feel like cheap plastic, but that was somewhat expected... overall, i\'m happy with it! (kind of fun \"mastering\" the manual focus)
