As per my warning on my tutorial, when you attempt to remove the front plate, make sure you are able to secure the plate with some kind of tool and careful ease it out of the chamber. The plate has sharp edges and dropping it may result in a scratched focusing screen or mirror (if you had the screen removed first). Speaking from personal experience here, scratched the screen and since then have a low opinion of magnetized screw drivers Unfortunately you need them to conveniently and securely remove the micro screws. Just that when the plate accidentally gets dragged along with it and mid way loses its hold, bad things can happen!
