I figure it\'s rain drops. Knowing the terminal velocity of the average rain drop, you could calculate Jim\'s shutter speed. Since I don\'t know this, I\'ll ask:
Jim, what shutter speed did you use?
P.S. Google is my friend. For an average 9m/s rain drop velocity, and streak length of 6 cm, I figure the shutter speed was t = 1/150 sec.
