I\'ve found one (minor) thing to complain about the MkII. It\'s supposed to detect when it is on a tripod and turn IS off. It does not. Instead if you look at live view at 10x magnification you can see the frame slowly floating around. When doing long exposures it results in somewhat blurry shots. Turn the IS off and you get perfectly sharp pictures, Mode I/II makes no difference.
Obviously it isn\'t a big deal, but you need to be aware of it. I had hoped that the IS would be useful even on a tripod - to counteract minute movements that may come from say a gust of wind. This is not the case and the IS does more harm than good.
