Because of the size and weight of the shipping package, containing not just the full original 1D set (with the brick-sized dual Ni-MH charger, the dummy battery for the A/C adapter, also included - something that Mark IV does not come with in the box to put things a bit in perspective, etc) but also one additional genuine Canon Ni-MH battery, standard shipping on this item is not going to be dirt cheap as let\'s say, my recent EF 1.4x II or EF 85 1.8 sales. I won\'t ship the camera just in its Canon box. Bought especially for this sale a sturdy Canada Post XL shipping box and even this one barely clears the Canon box enough to allow a generous amount of bubble wrapping around on all six sizes.
