This is a snow crystal that I took a picture of this past Sunday on 02/07/10. I think it would be classified as a stellar dendrite with sectored plate extensions. This shot taken w/ dark-field illumination causes the snow flake to light up like it was cut glass.

I\'ve cleaned up the path that shows up where I tried to use PS to remove spots that showed up on a dirty glass slide. Hopefully the new image looks better.
