I think the 5D mk2 should have been included inthis discussion. The 5D MK2 IMHO has better ISO performance than the 1D mk3. i would have like to see the 5D images next to the others.
I currently own two 1D3 and i use them primarily for weddings. I don\'t see myself moving up to the 1D4 for a loong time. I prefer to stay at 10mp. I have no intention of dealing with large files as far as work flow. And storage is also an issue.
I don\'t shoot in servo mode so if my 1D bodies have an issue with tracking i would\'nt know about it since i shoot mostly in one shot mode. The lithium battery last all day.
If i had the choice between the 1D3 or the 7D.....i would buy a clean used 1D3
for a few hundred dollars more over a new 7D. Your getting so much more for
a few hundred dollars more.
I\'ve owned Nikon bodies and i\'m not too happy with their bulky bodies. I hope
the totally redesign it. Canon 1D\'s just feels so much better in my hand than the D3\'s.
