I shot a bunch of CR2 files with my new 5DM2 over the weekend. Aperture 2 transferred them to the library via a card reader without any trouble, but it won\'t open any of the files - I see them in the preview window, but they won\'t open in the viewer; I just get the red box that says \"unsupported file format\".
I have the latest updates for Aperture 2 which say they support CR2 files. My system has the appropriate operating system, plenty of RAM and hard drive space. I don\'t think it\'s a hardware problem.
I noticed after downloading the images that my camera wasn\'t updated to the latest firmware so I did an update this morning - that might be the problem (I will shoot some test images tonight) - but it seems like CR2 should be CR2....
