(First Attempt!) Stitched Panoramic of a Caterpillar...


...I couldn\'t get the entire body in the frame at the magnification I wanted so I\'ve attempted a panoramic of a caterpillar. He was about 10mm in length.

Obviously there are a few issues but mostly the different areas of focus. See the middle half of the left section is out of focus whereas the back section at the same focal distance is in focus. I will need to consider for this if I\'m going to attempt such a shot again. Also the background in the second half (back half) is a lot more out of focus than the first half.

I had a quick go at \'fixing\' this but my skills are lacking. Oh well, a bit of fun.

Raw conversion in Photoshop then stitched via PTGui. Vivitar 90mm f/2.5 + 36mm tube +DCR 150 diopter.

Edit: Oh, I tried to pretty him up but I couldn\'t get _all_ the leaves of him, he was getting a bit cranky.
