Yes, I find it very easy to get clean 7D files.

7D image

my preferred method

DPP v3.7.2 processing of RAW file
-- no noise reduction
-- output as 48 bit TIF

Open in Photoshop CS4 64bit
-- noise reduction using Neat Image v6.1


The ACR v5.6 converter for CS4 supports the 7D, but could still use improvement in my opinion. I get better results with RAW conversion in DPP.

Not surprising my 5D was the same.
