Jim, it is the same lens like the one you pictured (before conversion).
Perhaps the picture above shows what you mean with your hint about the way how the focus ring is attached to the helocoid?
If this way the \"L\" version is attached applies also for the \"SSC aspherical\" version, I surely could fix it!
Maybe you could tell? Thank you!
