No, I do have a \"classical\" outlook on photography, the Avant Garde, and just plain bad has never appealed to me. I don\'t do Weddings, nor do I do Quinceneras unless held at gunpoint, I tell people to hire professionals who do this for a living. I don\'t, and won\'t. It just seems that since this was pointed out to me by another member who agrees with me (BTW), that there is a clique here who is in awe/drools on anything posted by certain members. Again, I have a wife who lets me know immediately if the photos are not to standard. No conspiracy, I do not normally frequent this forum, but as I said before in a telecon with another member, who called to tell me how bad these photos were, and I had to look at them to believe them. And from some reactions,(Leave and never come back is one) I hit a sore spot, and perhaps said that the Emperor has no clothes, Hmmmm?

Showed them to my wife, and her comment was: \"I\'d demand my money back\", and the little girl photo comment was: \"Victoria (our 11 year old) could have done that\". She is my harshest critic. Reminds me of this:
You just have a very different and more conservative idea of wedding photography.
You forget that this is typical of sergio\'s work, work that the B&G would have seen beforehand and clearly love.
Therefore the B&G specifically wanted this style. If they had hired Steve Tinnetti, Hoffer or even you Grognard, they would have been dissapointed. They wanted Serge.
Thats the trouble with niche photography, those that understand it, dig it in a huge way. This that dont like it are equally polarized in the opposite direction.
However, I like to think that a majority of the later are mature enough to understand its a taste thing. Your \'critique\' was not an opinion, it was an attack. People tend to get \'touchy\' when accused of being a fanboys.
Im beggining to think that there is a little conspiracy going on here.
