on the point of payment for services rendered. well it seems i\'m not at that level of \"professional\" status where gear is thrust upon me to be seen with. that in itself is a multi edged ethics issue i am actually gratified i don\'t have to deal with. so for RRS i paid out approx $948 and change delivered.
love? no. i work in a field that is totally reliant on electronic, electromechanical and just plain mechanical products and workmanship in the highest form. i have an appreciation for a level of quality that only a few here get.
evidently i have the $ to purchase any tripod i want and previous to the RRS model i owned a feisol 3371 which share much of the same basic design ideas. and there was a reason for that.
the only 2 gitzo models i have/had did not include the systematic design. and there was a reason for that too.
