well being that i don\'t have your height issue i have no need for it to be a tent pole for me . having a greater vertical rise is a 2 bladed sword.

3 sec vs 4 sec (3 more twist/pulls to to get to the air up their)
less carry capacity (somewhat irrelevent)

and who knows whats in the minds of RRS in a few months. this is just the beginning.
