Anyone know if Zeiss 21 ZE needs a slim filter or not
Just the Canon SLR forum here on FM. You\'ve probably already read his post. It\'s not so much of a review as a comparison to the 24 TSE, which is a very valuable comparison. The 24 TSE seems more versatile, but the 21 I suspect will have a punch to its microcontrast that no other wide angle can fully duplicate edge to edge, although that Oly 18mm sure seems quite nice, not to mention the Nikon 14-24. This new Zeiss 21 has the advantage of being auto aperture and native mount over the Nikon and the Oly, which are no small benefits. The 24 TSE is quite tempting, though, I have to say, albeit slightly slower f-stop wise.
