I read your review here and there but I went with the 3342. I stuck with what I was used to (3 legs) being that I have the Manfrotto 055xprob but this one is 2.27lbs vs 5.07lbs plus it folds down a little more than 2\" than the Manfrotto. I was concerned that the 3442\'s fourth leg would introduce some vibration. I compared the leg diameters and the Manfrotto top one is thicker than the 3342s but the other legs weren\'t. Btw, I photo mainly wildlife and use a Jo Bu gimbal head, flash bracket, 580 II and flash extender...1D3, 400 5.6, 1.4.

What\'s your thoughts on the tripod now that you\'ve had it a while?
