Your choice of camera has a flaw. I don\'t believe it has \"Live View.\" If you are serious about getting into Macro - live view is a must.
There are some really interesting diode packages being offered which have very flexible lighting offerings from one unit. I would explore them.
Macro photography is a real challenge. Gus Cabos from Miami on www.birdphotographers.net is a magician with lighting along with several other contributors.
