Well, all it shows that 7D is capable of resolving the Airy disks, while a lower resolution camera might not be able to that.
It does not mean the that the 7D is at a disadvantage. Just the way around, if you compare this image with an image taken with a lower resolution camera at equal output sizes, print, or screen, you will see that 7d reproduces more detail.
