FS: EOS Konica Hexanon 57/1.2 - for Canon EOS - price reduced
For sale is a Konica Hexanon AR 57mm 1:1.2 lens.
I converted it for use on Canon EOS (EF mount).
Price reduced to 369 EUR all incl.
Conversion is quite difficult which makes this a very rare lens.
I know only one more person who is using it on an EOS camera (FM member Dim.ka_).
Bokeh is very smooth and nice, and I found sharpness always to be super.
I\'m selling it because I have too many lenses at that focal length and speed.
The Hexanon is in user condition, not a collector cupboard piece.
Please scrutinize the pictures below.
It works on not modified APS-C sensor cameras: I tried it on a 300D and a 350D.
Full frame cameras require modification (quite a shaved mirror).
It does focus to infinity.
The focus ring is a little bit too much on the stiff side for my liking, but it turns very even without irregularities.
Aperture klicks are clear and positive. There is one klick for every full aperture and one extra at f/1.4.
Aperture blades are clean, too.
Optics are very nice and free from scratches, marks, or fungus. There are one or two little dust specks which do not affect IQ.
The lens is a glower, the glasses show some yellowing. However, I removed most of it by treatment with a cheap UV flashlight.
Pictures where the lens looks yellow-ish appear worse than it is.
I want 369 EUR, shipped to everywhere, and paypaled.
Konica and EF caps are included, camera and warranty are excluded.
This is my first transaction on this board, but you can check my ebay rating: tmsidr-max (467 ratings, each of them positive).
Thanks for looking!

EDIT, 09.11.2009 - change in thread title, to make it more significant
EDIT, 17.11.2009 - price lowered from 444 EUR to 399 EUR
EDIT, 22.11.2009 - price lowered again to 369 EUR, incl. shipping.
Won\'t be lowered again: If nobody is interested I will sell it locally or at ebay.
