thanks. Let me clarify my comment about the focal length and aperture; that comment only applies to TT1 and TT5 when thy are in full TTL mode.
And yes, we tried two other 7D\'s and they behave exactly the same. I will do the beta upgrade and see if it solves the issue in conjunction with the new 7d firmware (1.09) tonight.
