Well it came in today so without reading the manual of course, I went out and took a few shots to share with everyone here who is interested. The AF of the 7D works extremely well. In fact, once it locked on it never let go. The 8fps (something I\'ll never get used to) is amazing! It is so fast. And quiet too. You can barely hear it. The horizontal and vertical position gizmo is pretty neat, but really something I don\'t think I\'ll use much. I wish it was on my 5DmkII though. Anyway, the button layout took only a few minutes to memorize and selecting the AF points proved to be one of these cases where I had too MUCH to choose from haha!!! I think this camera and I are going to have a long happy relationship together. These are all full frame shots. Mind you, I\'m still not very good at PP so if these look like doo-doo, I apologize in advance. Oh! Lightroom and CS4 will NOT read these files. I had to use DPP to process them which I really don\'t like to use very much. Please excuse the large sizes. I wanted folks to see the photos the 7D can produce in my amateur hands.
