Much better stated but, ultimately, still completely unrelated to the point of this thread.
I apologize for my \"unwarm\" welcome. Please realize that it was a reaction to the fact that you have chosen this particular thread to voice your dissatisfaction with the entire Zuiko System. I would think it obvious that the point of this thread is to post photos taken with the Zuiko 28/3.5 and talk about why you love it. To take the opportunity to do the opposite is just out of line.
I cannot speak of the entire Zuiko System, because I have only owned and used about 6 or 7 of the lenses. What I can say is that I have used various lenses from too many manufacturers to list here, and I have found both gems and duds in each system.
The only Zuiko I continue to own and use is the 28/3.5 (I do own one other Zuiko, but I do not use it, as it is a prototype which is currently in limbo, being restored).. All the others I tried were eclipsed by better lenses from different systems. On this point I can agree with you.
With respect to the 28/3.5, the subject of this thread, I cannot agree. It is an excellent lens in my experience and that is echoed by many others.
