I am not impressed with the noise level in the RG 7D samples at this URL:

The Reggae concert images are awful
The pond, soccer, and profile pics have too much noise
sort of a blah digital look.

Looks like the 50D revisited -- too many pixels in a tiny 1.6 sensor

Makes me wonder if the 1D Mark IV with 18 MP might be the ticket.
