Does this framing work?


I have an exhibition coming up shortly and I can\'t decide how to frame and mount this image.

I have seen some Nielsen Tribeca Frames that I really like as they are matt black and have a depth of 3cm, which really appeals to me.

The size they measure are 50x70 cm (19.6\"x27.5\")

My image (aperture) will be 12\"x18\"

Here is an mock up image showing how I intend to frame it, the proportions of this are the same as stated.

My question is does the larger mount at the bottom work for this framing?

i am very new to framing, so apologies for my lack of experience.
