Paolo, the front lens cap on 200 f/1.8 fits perfect. However, the 200 f/2.0 IS hood is better in several ways than the 200 f/1.8 hood........I think that\'s much more important than the fit of those caps during lens storage.
Why do you think I went to the expens and trouble of getting an alternative (viz. smaller) hood for the 200 f/1.8 even though it can not be reversed on the lens.
