However, tonite I managed to get a few shots with the 200 f/2 IS, some of which I\'d like to share.
The AF conditions of the first shot are kinda interesting. That\'s an enlargement 50% crop. The target is a smaller fast flying bird, of low contrast pattern/colours, there is a rather \"busy\" background as well as an overall low light level. I was actually surprised the rig focused at all. Unless you have tried something similar with sufficient frequency, you may wish to take my word for it.......this is the shooting domain of two-three real fast telephoto lenses only.....135L and 200 f/2 IS come to mind first and foremost.
