I have a fine, lightly used 40D. Bought as a refurb about 8 months ago, was in perfect shape (often these are salespersons\' samples as I understand). I have used it probably a total of 6 times, with about 500 total exposures or less - I recently added a 5D (refurb, also, as I have never had issue with any refrubs) and am going away from the 1.6X sensor.
I have a Mack extended warranty that is registered (I believe it is 3 years), and I understand that it is transferable (I can check with Mack to confirm). I had to use a Mack warranty once before on a laptop computer, and was pleased with their service.
I can send photos if needed. Camera will come with all that came with it new, including one Canon battery. Refurbs come in a plain box from Canon.
I bought this at a good deal, and am willing to lose some money on, and to sell for $629 shipped/insured + paypal fee. Fine camera for that money - it just sits in a Pelican case all the time now and should be enjoyed by someone. I am in the USVI part time but heading to Boston this week, and can ship from either as needed via USPS priority mail, insured.
I think this is a pretty sharp price on this given condition (essentially new condition), so please no offers at this point.
