You most defiitely will like the D700 for low-light/high ISO shots. I\'ve had mine for only 3 weeks. I shoot quite a few community concerts (voluntary) - mainly youth choirs, and the D700 high iso performance will cut down on my post processing time. Here\'s an example ... (not related to the young lady)
1/250th 4.8 ISO 6400 with 70-200. Converted in DXO - no other post processing other than crop/resize
