please post a link to info stating \"different optical formulas.\" i\'m pretty sure the optical formula for all the Asahi Takumar 135/3.5 versions is identical. What changes is the coating(s) on the lens, and of course the bodies and aperture mechanics.
The coatings reduce flare, increase contrast, and bring out more detail in darker portions of the image.
