Conrad, trust me on this.......the 1DMkIIN is plenty \"sharp\" if you can make it so through.....
(1) shooting technique
(2) lens quality
(3) camera settings and image processing.
I could show you thousands of examples for \"sharp\". However, I \'ve just come accross this image taken with the 200 f/1.8 wide open. This is 100% crop.
Sharp enough for me. More importantly though, I like the bokeh that 1DMkIIN generates.
