This was one of those sunrises that started off pretty slow, grew spectacular and didn\'t seem to end. There was enough deep clouds to hold the sun back and just made the clouds in front burn for one of the longest sunrises I had the pleasure to shoot!
Here\'s the progression of the sunrise from last month. I\'ve been pretty lucky, so far I\'ve made 5 trips to Banff this winter and have come away with two really sweet sunrises. Now if only the sunsets would cooperate
