Ted\'s Camera Store in Brissy a couple of months back. They has a 50D + 18-200mm kit for $2200. I queried the price and they said it was true (it\'s now gone up again). I wasn\'t intending on replacing my 40D but that was too good to pass up, especially with the warranty. My Dad was impressed enough with the lens he got one off eBay for $760 from a bloke who was selling it from his kit and tested it once. No warranty there, but it was brand new - works perfectly. He\'s now selling his 18-55mm old 35-135mm and Vivitar 1.4x TC because the 18-200 beats them all, in one package. He is now very happy with that and the 50/1.8 as his only lenses.
