It seems to me the number of people switching from C to Nikon is more prevalent today than ever before. Lets start by noting nikon film bodies ruled the 35 mm market.
id like to explore why the canon system is failing; is it poor body design? Possibly poor consumer confidence or simply lack of consumer loyalty. Theres an EF to EF-S lens deal that i think limits the mounting of consumer lenses to pro bodies. F mount pretty much assures that with small exception to 40 or 50 year old non Ai lenses, every nikon Dslr will mount and focus on every nikkor lens. I assume a good flaming for this topic but it does have merit; the flood of canon to nikon users is tampering with the prices and availability of good quality used nikkor lenses.
Several shooter buddies of mine are all canon guys....and have beat on me for years about how their system is better and why do i shoot with nikon as its junk.....I used to try and rationalize on the merits of both but it always ended in dribble. There are advantages in both systems its just a matter of when and where you realize the merits of each one!
