Re: Mark III-Recall again ?

Rant on: I have to admit, I\'m thinking of giving Canon 1 more year of use (I know, I say this now.....) and hope that within this year they come out with some knockout products that are reliable and create Industry leading images (Canon is behind Nikon in my book). While I\'m loving my lenses, the bodies and flashes are just not going in the direction I\'d like. If Canon can get their butts back in line and produce something that doesn\'t cause problems (AF issues, ETTL2\'s constant problems, lots of little headaches due to poor quality control, better image quality on par Nikon (I\'m sorry, but IMO Canon\'s low ISO now sucks between the 1 and 5 series, and I like the images from my 5D better than the 5D2 I tested), Canon\'s severe crippling of their semi-pro 5d that many pros use, etc). I know there\'s many people happy with Canon\'s new offerings, I\'m just not one of them. I know many pros that feel Canon is causing them problems when used in a professional setting. I\'ll give Canon semi-kudos for fixing their problems 2 years after the camera has been out, it just shouldn\'t have happened.....ESPECIALLY from a pro gear standard that are used by professionals. Canon is starting to feel the heat from their poor performance with many more black lenses showing up in front of the national spotlight instead of Canon white. If I wasn\'t so invested in lenses, and looking to get into a system, Nikon would get my vote at this point. Okay, rant off

Canon is in trouble. All their talented engineers have either left the bldg or have been beaten senseless by a management team that\'s smoking crack. I\'ve said it before and I\'ll say it again. Canon needs to fire their camera/imaging products management team, immediately.
