All this measurement is fine, but I would like to see how each camera copes with highlight retention and shadow retrieval for a particular high contrast scene. The number of bits isn\'t so relevant - what counts is the ratio of light strength between highlights and shadows which can be captured without blowing the whites and fogging the blacks at any particular iso. That is best illustrated with examples, not graphs.
