FS: REDUCED AGAIN-1DmkIII & RRS L Bracket (CANADA)
I\'m selling my EOS 1Dmk III. I purchased a 5DII last month and have ordered a second body. The camera is in EXCELLENT condition and while I\'m not sure how to check for shutter actuations, I\'m fairly confident it is under 10k (most likely between 8k and 10k). I can provide a RAW file to anyone who knows how to check the actuations.
I did have AF issues when I first purchased the camera, but the issues were resolved with the sub-mirror fix and firmware update that was completed in February 2008. After the sub-mirror fix and firmware update the AF performance has been excellent and I have not had any issues.
Also note that as a result of the sub-mirror fix, the camera\'s WARRANTY HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 27/2009 (repair date was February 27/2008).
The camera comes with box and battery, charger and other original accessories, warranty card and letter and repair form from Canon regarding extended warranty coverage that is good from 1 year of the sub-mirror replacement/repair date.
The selling price of the camera is $3,400 CDN + shipping/paypal. (APPROX. $2780 USD using Jan 29 exchange rates)
I\'m also selling my Really Right Stuff L-Bracket for $150 CDN + shipping/paypal.
Please not that I won\'t be selling my L-bracket until the camera is sold. Also note that I\'ve already have 4 people on the list for the L-Bracket if the person who buys the camera doesn\'t buy the L-Bracket.
Photos of the camera are below. You can see photos taken with the camera on my Pbase gallery (most of the photos taken in the last year were taken with the 1DIII, with the exception of the ones taken with my 5D and 16-35L II lens).

I\'m selling my EOS 1DIII. I purchased a 5DII last month and have ordered a second body.
While the 5DII\'s AF is no wear as good as the 1DIII, i\'ve decided to stick to having to full frame cameras, since I rarely get an opportunity to shoot sports anymore.
My 1DIII is in excellent condition and while I had numerous issues with its focus (not holding focus in one shot AF), the issues were resolved with the sub-mirror fix that was completed last February. The AF on the camera is excellent.

As a result of the sub-mirror fix, the cameras warranty has been extended to February 28/2009 (repair date was February 28/2008).
The camera comes with box and battery, charger and other original accessories, warranty card and letter and repair form from Canon regarding extended warranty coverage that is good from 1 year of the sub-mirror replacement/repair date.
The selling price of the camera is $3,500 CDN + shipping/paypal.
I\'m also selling my Really Right Stuff L-Bracket for $150 CDN + shipping/paypal.
Note, prices for both are in Canadian dollars. For information purposes, the approximate price in USD using January 2 exchange rates, for the 1DIII would be $2900 USD, while the approximate price of the RRS L-Bracket would be $125 USD.
Please not that I won\'t be selling my L-bracket until the camera is sold.
Photos of the camera are below. You can see photos taken with the camera on my Pbase gallery (most of the photos taken in the last year were taken with the 1DIII, with the exception of the ones taken with my 5D and 16-35L II lens).
