Thanks a lot for the comment.I was always against the blackbackgound because I think is stealing the beauty of the subject but sometimes it works to give a teriffic air on a spider portrait (for example).But itīs just my taste not a rule.
Nr 1,2,4 and 5 are flash taken, using just a piece of translucent plastic as a diffuser but it depends on the angle that you give it for lighting the background too.
