Time to juggle my gear collection again, as I do monthly. These were originally FT only; now FS.
I\'m looking to trade the M8 for a 5DII.
The Leica M8 is like new in box with every piece of original accessory, firmware 2.0. About 3000 actuations -- I bought it here about a month ago from user davidriver and put about 2k on it in the intervening time. Except for a very faint mark on the top, an extremely light scratch on the plastic cover and a \"bump\" in the leatherette near the USB door, and a tiny scratch on LCD, it is in practically new condition. All the marks have been presented in the photos but are hard to tell when you hold the camera. Needless to say, the camera is optically and mechanically perfect (focus has been verified with a 28 Elmarit, a 28 Summicron, and a 35 Summilux). $2750 or straight trade for a 5DII
28mm Summicron, 28mm Elmarit, and 1D Mark II now sold!
Email or PM is fine. As you can see, I have done a lot of business here on FM, all of it trouble-free. Deals local to Austin, Texas are welcomed. Thanks for looking!

I\'m looking to trade the M8 or the 28mm for a 5DII or a 35L. I might also be intrigued by a direct trade with the M8 and 28/2 for a Nikon D700 and 28/1.4, however unlikely that may be.

I can also add a 28mm Summicron-M (f/2). It is ASPH and 6-bit coded and comes with the appropriate IR filter. It does have some minor wear around the hood bayonet and aperture, I would call this an excellent user copy. $2300 for the Summicron; take $100 off if you are buying it with the M8. (28mm Elmarit now sold.)
The 1D Mark II is a well-loved camera that has always been treated properly. It has just under 130k actuations on it. It has a few small marks on it which I have tried to detail in my photos: a mark under the \"EOS\" writing on the front, a nick on the bottom near the battery slot, a nick under the bottom attachment for the handstrap, and a couple of other rub marks on the front under the shutter release. Other than that it is optically and mechanically perfect. Comes with everything you get in the box (and the box!), plus an E-1 handstrap, 3 extra batteries, and a Canon EC split-image focusing screen. SOLD to Mike M. Kraus

I\'m looking to trade the M8 for a 5DII and the 1D Mark II for a 35L. Other combinations will be considered, but they will have to involve cash -- I would suggest the above direct trades are fair, maybe even generous.
